webXalpha is a computer introduction for the average user. Being a Fry International company, we're dedicated to the paperless office and paperless solutions. Part of this web site is a complete resource to manage your on-line business. No idea where to start, we will guide you. We offer both free and paid services.

So why webXalpha as the name? We have your answer here. X because of the new version of the Internet, Web 2.0, or Internet 2.0. This is not actually a new Internet, but a new way of thinking how we use the Internet. There is the old Internet and newer Internet ideas. Social networking is one of these terms. For example, the old encyclopedia britannica is web 1.0 as compared to wikipedia which is 2.0. We chose the term X as to keep up with new Internet services offered. Kind of a directory of new ideas and new services, new web sites, because we only exist on-line, in our businesses and our private lives, we look at movies, write, use on-line applications, everything you can think of, including talking to people, chatting with people, and everything you can think of, we're doing it online now. Although there is no Web 3.0 or Internet 3.0, we're X to handle whatever changes that may happen.

The other part of the webX is of course the alpha part. Alpha is the first letter in the greek alphabet. In programming, we find that there are three or four stages to programming. The first of course would be thought. The second is alpha, where programming begins to develop something to accomplish the thought. The third would be beta, which Fry International also holds the domain (webXbeta.com), where people can start 'beta testing' the source code developed. The results from these tests are resolved to complete the final project which is the release of this software. After that, there are sometimes additional patches or service packs that can be applied to the software to the software to improve on any final glitches. We chose alpha because we're always under development. As the Internet changes every day, so will we. We're always programming and making the changes as we need to.
